Agreement
By downloading or using Čiriklo, you agree to these Terms and, depending on where you got the app, to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (App Store) or the Google Play Terms of Service (Google Play).
The service
Čiriklo provides North Central Romani lessons, practice, on-device progress tracking and the optional Friends and races feature. The content was compiled from academic sources, but Romani has many dialects – the app is a learning aid and does not replace native speakers or formal instruction. Pronunciation is synthetic and approximate.
Price and ads
The app is free and shows ads. Coins (“zlaťáky”) and other in-app rewards have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money.
Where your data is
Your course progress is saved on your phone. You are responsible for device backups; deleting the app may remove your progress. If you turn on Friends, your Friends profile is stored on our server. See the Privacy Policy.
Friends and races
The Friends and races feature is optional and may only be used by people aged 13 and over. When you create a profile, you confirm that you are at least 13 and agree to the rules in this section. How we handle Friends data is described in the Privacy Policy.
Community rules
Names must not contain: profanity; hate, including slurs against Roma and other groups; sexual content; impersonation of Čiriklo or its team; phone numbers, links or other personal data.
Moderation
Names are checked automatically, and you can report or block players in the app. If two players report a name, or a friend reports it for hate, the name may be hidden automatically before a review; a person then reviews the reports. We may hide a name, or block or delete a profile. You will see the reason in the app and can reply by email to support@ciriklo.app. We review reports within 72 hours.
Races
- Races are free and nobody can lose coins in them: there are no stakes and no entry fees.
- A race starts when your opponent accepts the challenge and lasts 1, 3 or 7 days. XP from lessons, reviews, practice and games completed during the race counts, up to 300 XP per hour and 1,500 XP per day. XP only counts if the app sends it to the server within 24 hours after the race ends (opening the app with an internet connection is enough).
- Anyone who collects at least 10 XP gets a consolation reward (5 / 10 / 20 coins depending on the race length). Instead, the winner gets the prize (20 / 50 / 100 coins) if they collect at least 20 / 30 / 50 XP. In a tie, both players get the prize if they collect at least 20 / 30 / 50 XP. You can earn at most 300 coins from races in any 7 days.
- Removing or blocking your opponent during a race forfeits the race. Rewards must be claimed within 30 days.
- Coins have no monetary value and cannot be bought, sold or exchanged for money.
- Cheating leads to disqualification from the race.
- Races are run by the developer of Čiriklo. Apple and Google are not sponsors of the races and are not involved with them in any way.

Changes and liability
We may improve, change or discontinue features and content. To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided without further warranties; mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
